Now that I’ve finished my great grandfather’s memoir and have begun querying agents, I can spend some of my focus on other side projects. The next one is going to be quite ambitious: a digital card game based on Tales of Ashkar.
Now, this one’s going to take a while. Logistics and details need to be hashed out followed by a successful kickstarter campaign. Then comes the development. I’m taking this one slow and starting with fundamental game mechanics before even starting the kickstarter. I want the game to be fun, high quality, and polished.
‘Til next time.
Hello again! Ever since the successful book signing, my head has been filled with many ways to branch out and reach more people. I’m currently working on having a webcomic done on a pivotal scene in Dragonsoul, and also having character bios from both Tales of Ashkar and Dragonsoul on this blog complete with artwork.
On another front, I’m getting super close to finishing the memoir of my great grandfather. Once I’m done, I’ll be looking at getting an agent to go the traditional route. I think with nonfiction, I will have an easier time getting the attention of an agent.
‘Til next time.
This is a random, sudden surprise, but I will be doing a book signing next Saturday the 25th of March! I’m super excited to be doing my first event, and I will have copies of all three of my books. The signing will be at the Indigo bookstore in Barrhaven’s shopping center. Come and say hello!
The event is also posted on goodreads here: https://www.goodreads.com/event/show/1011410-fantasy-author-kayl-karadjian-book-signing?utm_medium=email&utm_source=copypasteevent
